The hit Prime Video series Off Campus has officially been renewed for a second season, continuing its adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s popular romance novels. The announcement came even before the first season premiered, reflecting the platform’s strong confidence in the show’s potential and its already established fanbase. The series follows Hannah Wells, played by Ella Bright, an aspiring composer who becomes involved in a fake relationship with college hockey player Garrett Graham, portrayed by Belmont Cameli, setting the stage for a storyline that blends romance, emotional conflict, and campus life drama.

At present, Off Campus season 2 does not yet have an official release date. However, production has already begun, with filming reportedly starting in Canada on May 18th. Given that the first season was filmed over several months between June and October 2025, industry expectations suggest that production for season 2 may wrap later in the year, potentially positioning the new season for a release window around late spring 2027, although no confirmation has been made by Prime Video.

Amazon’s Head of Global Television, Peter Friedlander, previously commented on the renewal decision, stating: “With its passionate fan base [and] rich source material, we knew this series had the depth and momentum to continue beyond its first season.” This statement reinforced the platform’s long-term commitment to adapting the full scope of Kennedy’s five-book series.

The first season of Off Campus primarily adapts the novel The Deal, while also incorporating elements from The Score, which focuses on Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis. The season ends on a major cliffhanger, leaving the central characters at a turning point in their relationship, while also opening the door for expansion into other storylines from the book universe.

Looking ahead, season 2 is expected to further explore the interconnected romantic arcs within the Briar University world. In the source material, The Mistake focuses on John Logan and his relationship with freshman Grace Ivers, while The Goal follows John Tucker and his romance with Sabrina James. Showrunner Louisa Levy has indicated that Hannah and Garrett will remain central to the story in the upcoming season, stating: “We want to keep them around in season 2 and tell more story with them and just get to live in a world where they're together.” She also teased that season 2 will further explore how Hunter Davenport influences Allie and Dean’s relationship, while also introducing Logan’s romantic storyline with Grace Ivers.

However, Levy has remained intentionally discreet about which couple will take narrative center stage in season 2, leaving fans speculating about whether the focus will shift or remain anchored to the original protagonists.

In terms of casting, most of the main ensemble is expected to return. Ella Bright is set to reprise her role as Hannah Wells, alongside Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham. Broadway performer Phillipa Soo has also been cast as a theatre artist guest-directing an original production at Briar U, expanding the university setting beyond its athletic and romantic core.

Regarding Josh Heuston’s character Justin, showrunner Louisa Levy clarified that he will not return in season 2, though she hinted at possible future reappearances, noting: “We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we'll find a way to fold him into a future season.”

As of now, no official trailer for Off Campus season 2 has been released. Promotional material is expected closer to the completion of filming, once the production enters post-production stages and the narrative structure of the new season is finalized.
