Madonna continues to keep fans guessing about Confessions II after making an appearance on BBC’s The Graham Norton Show. The Queen of Pop was asked directly about persistent rumors that Kylie Minogue will appear on her upcoming album, following widespread speculation that the two music legends have quietly collaborated in the studio.

When host Graham Norton asked, “There are rumors that Kylie is on Confessions II. Is this you confirming that rumor?”, Madonna declined to give a straightforward answer. Instead, she smiled and replied, “It’s my job to be mysterious.” Sitting beside her, Kylie Minogue laughed at Madonna’s carefully crafted response, joking that the pop icon is “good at deflecting.”
The conversation also revisited one of the most memorable moments from Madonna’s The Celebration Tour in Los Angeles in May 2024, when Kylie made a surprise appearance on stage to perform her global hit Can’t Get You Out of My Head alongside Madonna.
Looking back on the performance, Kylie said, “What a moment. I absolutely loved that.”
Beyond their television appearance, Madonna and Kylie reportedly reunited to film a secret comedy sketch for Madonna’s upcoming BBC special.

According to reports, Kylie accepted the invitation after Madonna personally asked her to take part in the project. The special was filmed at Koko in Camden, a venue that holds special significance for Madonna, as it was where she first performed in the United Kingdom back in 1983, when it was still known as Camden Palace.
According to a source, rather than performing together, Kylie appears in a light-hearted comedy segment, playing a bartender.
“Madonna and Kylie have long been fans of each other, so when Kylie got the call to make a cameo in the BBC special, it was a no-brainer. Rather than a performance, Kylie actually appears in the show in a light-hearted skit. She plays a barmaid, though, awkwardly, Madonna doesn’t like the drink Kylie gives her. It’s all very light-hearted.”
The same source also claimed that the two global superstars have discussed the possibility of entering the recording studio together in the future.

Although Madonna has yet to confirm whether Kylie appears on Confessions II, their increasingly frequent collaborations have only fueled speculation that an official musical partnership may finally be on the horizon.
For Graham Norton, interviewing Madonna at such a meaningful venue was a career highlight.
“As a lifelong fan it is always a thrill to interview Madonna. But to meet her on the dance floor where she first performed in London over 40 years ago felt incredibly special,” he said.
During the program, viewers were also given a glimpse of Madonna working on Confessions II in the recording studio.
Reflecting on her creative process, she explained, “It’s kind of like I get possessed. The ideas come when I don’t try too hard.”
When asked about the song One Step Away, Madonna said it “came from the soul.”

Confessions II is scheduled for release on July 3 and will also feature Sabrina Carpenter on the track Bring Your Love.
In the lead-up to the album’s launch, Madonna has embarked on an extensive promotional campaign, making high-profile media appearances and attending events alongside a new generation of pop stars. She recently made headlines after partying with Charli XCX and teasing Hot Sauce, a collaboration with ABSOLUT Vodka.
At 67, Madonna continues to prove why she remains one of the most influential artists in the history of popular music.
Across more than four decades, she has delivered an extraordinary catalog of hits, including Like a Virgin, Material Girl, Vogue, Frozen, Hung Up, and Music. Her ability to continually reinvent both her sound and image has made her a defining force in pop culture and paved the way for generations of female performers.
Released in 2005, Confessions on a Dance Floor is widely regarded as one of the most successful and critically acclaimed albums of Madonna’s career, marking a triumphant return with its disco-inspired dance-pop sound.
For that reason, news of Confessions II has generated enormous excitement among fans, many of whom hope the new record will serve as a worthy successor while showcasing another bold chapter in Madonna’s ever-evolving artistic journey.
Kylie Minogue, meanwhile, has built an equally remarkable career spanning more than four decades.
From her beginnings as an Australian television star, she rose to become one of the world's biggest pop icons with chart-topping hits such as Can’t Get You Out of My Head, Spinning Around, Love at First Sight, and Padam Padam.

Her career has endured both triumphs and challenges, including her battle with breast cancer in 2005, yet she emerged stronger than ever and continues to enjoy global success.
Although the media has often portrayed Madonna and Kylie as rivals due to their status as pioneering female pop stars, the two have consistently expressed mutual admiration and respect.
Their recent appearances together have reinforced the close bond they share while putting any lingering rivalry rumors to rest.
As a result, if they eventually release an official collaboration, it would undoubtedly become one of the most anticipated musical events for fans of both artists and for the global pop industry as a whole.
For now, Madonna continues to neither confirm nor deny the rumors surrounding Kylie Minogue’s involvement in Confessions II.
Yet with her playful remark that “It’s my job to be mysterious,” the pop legend has once again succeeded in keeping audiences intrigued, leaving fans to wait until the album’s official release to discover whether one of pop music’s most anticipated collaborations has finally become a reality.
