Kylie Jenner Faces Shocking Lawsuit: Private Chef Claims Excessive Workload Led to Miscarriage

Kylie Jenner is facing a new lawsuit after her former private chef alleged that an excessive workload contributed to her miscarriage. The complaint was filed earlier this week in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming that strenuous working conditions and the employer’s failure to provide reasonable accommodations during pregnancy resulted in a devastating loss. Business management firm Tri Star has also been named as a co-defendant.

According to the lawsuit, the chef began working for Kylie Jenner in November 2024. Just one month later, she informed her supervisors that she was three months pregnant and required reasonable workplace accommodations to safeguard both her health and that of her unborn child. However, the complaint alleges that these requests were not properly addressed.

The plaintiff’s attorney, Della Shaker, stated: “Celebrity status does not exempt anyone from California’s employment laws. We look forward to presenting the evidence in court and allowing the facts to speak for themselves.”

The lawsuit further claims that on New Year’s Eve 2024, despite her pregnancy, the chef was still required to “lift and transport heavy food items across the street and uphill without assistance.” Following the physical exertion, she allegedly “became dizzy, began choking and gasping for air, and required assistance from security personnel, who intervened by providing water and aid.” The incident is cited as one example of working conditions that were allegedly incompatible with her medical condition.

According to the filing, another incident occurred in early February 2025 while the chef was working at a birthday party for one of Jenner’s children in Palm Springs. She claims she was not provided with “adequate support” throughout the event. After hours of continuous work, she allegedly “broke down emotionally” due to “the exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain,” and by the end of the day had “experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”

The following morning, the plaintiff reportedly suffered severe bleeding and was rushed to the emergency room. According to the complaint, doctors informed her that she had “lost her unborn child.” She argues that the miscarriage was directly linked to the excessive workload and the failure to provide appropriate accommodations during her pregnancy.

At this time, representatives for Kylie Jenner, Tri Star, and the plaintiff’s legal team have not issued any detailed public statements beyond the attorney’s initial remarks. The allegations currently represent only one side of the dispute and will ultimately be evaluated through the legal process before any conclusions are reached by the court.

This is not the first lawsuit Kylie Jenner has faced in recent months. In April, two former housekeepers separately filed legal complaints against the reality star and entrepreneur. The first plaintiff, Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, alleged that she was subjected to a hostile and abusive work environment at Jenner’s Los Angeles residence, claiming she was excluded and mistreated by fellow staff members between September 2024 and August 2025.

A second former employee, Juana Delgado Soto, also filed a lawsuit alleging racial discrimination, harassment, unpaid wages, and the failure to prevent or address workplace discrimination and harassment. Both cases remain ongoing, and no final rulings have been issued.
