After nearly a decade together, Frankie Muniz and Paige Price have officially confirmed the end of their marriage. The actor shared the news on Instagram after the couple had quietly spent several months separated. Although their marriage has come to an end, both Muniz and Price emphasized that they will continue moving forward as close friends, co-parenting their son while remaining business partners.

Their announcement quickly drew widespread attention, not only because it was one of the rare celebrity breakups marked by mutual respect rather than blame, but also because of the positive outlook they chose as they entered a new chapter in their lives.

In his statement, Muniz revealed that the decision to divorce came after months of reflection and reevaluating their relationship. He wrote, “Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage.” According to the actor, their time apart helped them realize that the strongest foundation for their family’s future lies in their friendship and shared commitment as parents.

Muniz continued, “After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents. We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.” Rather than focusing on the end of their marriage, he highlighted the positive experiences they built together over the past decade, emphasizing that their son, Mauz, will always remain their highest priority.

The actor also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Paige Price for the sacrifices she made throughout their relationship. “I’m endlessly grateful to Paige for everything she’s done for me and our family. She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter. That foundation of

respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere.” Muniz made it clear that although their marriage is ending, the respect and friendship they share will remain unchanged.

In addition to co-parenting their son, Muniz and Price confirmed that they will continue working together as business partners. Over the past several years, the couple has built ventures centered around motorsports, a passion Muniz pursued after stepping away from Hollywood. He concluded his statement by writing, “We’re closing one chapter with gratitude and opening the next with bright futures ahead, for us as individuals and especially for our son. We both choose to not entertain any questions on this matter. Please respect our family’s privacy during this time.”

The announcement came shortly after the couple initially revealed their split through a lighthearted social media video. In the clip, Frankie, Paige and their five-year-old son, Mauz, danced together to Check Yes, Juliet by We the Kings. Toward the end of the video, Muniz playfully lifted his son and pretended to use him as an air guitar while the on-screen text read, “Who says you can’t stay best friends with your baby momma?”

However, the unconventional announcement quickly sparked mixed reactions online. Some social media users felt the video made divorce appear overly casual and failed to reflect the seriousness of the situation.

Following the wave of criticism, Muniz removed the video and replaced it with a family photo accompanied by a more traditional written statement.

Price later came to her former husband’s defense in the comments section. She wrote, “Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you. This world is so fucked… divorce is bad, sure - it’s not like we’re excited about it… but we’re two adults who know how to be on the same team. I can’t believe people could scrutinize that.” Her response resonated with many fans, as she stressed that divorce does not have to turn parents into enemies.

Frankie Muniz and Paige Price first met at an event in California in 2016. After dating for two years, Muniz proposed in November 2018. They exchanged vows during an intimate wedding ceremony in February 2020, surrounded by close family members and friends. In March 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Mauz. Since becoming parents, they have frequently shared family moments on social media and have often spoken about how parenthood completely changed their perspective on life.

For Muniz, family came during a period of significant change in his career. Born in 1985, he rose to fame at an early age after landing the title role in the hit sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. The series became one of America’s most successful television comedies and turned him into one of the most recognizable teenage stars of the early 2000s. His performance earned widespread critical acclaim, multiple award nominations and paved the way for a successful film career.

During the height of his acting career, Muniz starred in films including Big Fat Liar, Agent Cody Banks and Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London. With his energetic screen presence and natural comedic charm, he was widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s brightest young actors. However, instead of continuing to pursue major film roles, Muniz gradually stepped back from acting to focus on another lifelong passion.

Motorsports eventually became the next chapter of his life. Muniz competed in several professional racing series and devoted much of his time to building a career in racing. In recent years, he has also combined his passion with business, developing racing-related ventures alongside Paige Price. Their shared commitment to those projects is one of the reasons they have chosen to remain business partners despite ending their marriage.

Beyond his professional life, Muniz has also faced a number of personal health challenges. Over the years, he has spoken publicly about neurological issues and periods during which his memory was affected, prompting concern among longtime fans. Despite those setbacks, the actor has consistently maintained an optimistic outlook, often crediting his family with helping him find balance and perspective during difficult times.

Part of what has drawn so much attention to Muniz and Price’s separation is the way they have chosen to handle it. Throughout their years together, the couple largely stayed away from public scandals or high-profile controversies. As a result, news of their divorce came as a surprise to many fans. Based on both of their statements, however, the decision appears to have been the result of a gradual evolution in their relationship rather than a single defining event.

While it is not uncommon for celebrity couples to remain on good terms after a breakup, continuing to work together while raising a child is far less common. Muniz and Price have both emphasized that creating a stable and loving environment for Mauz remains their top priority. They hope their son will continue to feel equally supported by both parents, regardless of the changes in their marital status.

Rather than focusing on loss, Frankie Muniz closed his announcement by expressing gratitude for everything he and Paige had shared over the past decade. Their nearly ten-year relationship came to an end with mutual respect instead of public conflict. For Muniz and Price, this new chapter is not defined by separation alone, but by a shared commitment to remain devoted parents, trusted business partners and lifelong friends who continue to wish the very best for one another.
