Alan Ritchson has once again drawn public attention after openly criticizing U.S. President Donald Trump over the continued withholding of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s case. Appearing on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, the Reacher star delivered a series of fiery remarks, arguing that the public has the right to know the truth about everyone connected to the case.

At the beginning of the conversation, Ritchson acknowledged that many people see him as a “loose cannon” because of his willingness to speak out on social issues. However, the actor rejected that characterization, insisting that he is simply saying what many others are thinking but are unwilling to voice. “People, I think, are a little afraid of me because they’re like he’s a loose canon, and I am not. I’m just saying the s–t that everybody should say if they give a s–t about humanity. Everybody else should feel like I feel about the way things are and the abuses that are happening everywhere.”

The discussion then shifted to Jeffrey Epstein. Ritchson expressed his frustration over the fact that documents related to the case have yet to be fully released. In his view, withholding the files only fuels public suspicion and delays efforts to hold those involved accountable.

“Where are they? It’s a f–king law, b-tch. Show it. You f–king pedophiles,” the actor said. Moments later, he caught himself, adding, “I shouldn’t say f–k because I’m a Christian… This is my f–king politics, dude. I would f–king railroad these f–kers.”

Ritchson went on to say that if he had access, he would release the entire collection of Epstein files almost immediately. According to the actor, exposing the truth is essential to ensuring that anyone responsible faces justice, regardless of who they are.

“I would get those Epstein files out in two seconds. I don’t care what room they’re in. B-tch, move. Give me the f–king manilla envelope. Don’t you want to see what’s in there so that we can hold people accountable. These f–king rapists,” he said.

The actor also directly targeted President Donald Trump with particularly harsh language. “That b-tch has the keys to the nuclear codes. He’s like all up into 13 year olds. Like, dude, what? Go to jail.” The remarks quickly spread across social media, with many describing them as one of the strongest public attacks on Trump by a Hollywood star in recent years.

Earlier, Vice President JD Vance also addressed the Epstein controversy during an appearance on The View. He said President Trump was “frustrated” by the ongoing debate surrounding the Epstein files but did not provide further details about when—or whether—the documents might be released.

Ritchson is no stranger to making politically charged statements. Over the years, he has repeatedly spoken out on issues involving human rights, social justice, and the responsibility of those in power. The actor has argued that celebrities should not simply enjoy public attention but should also use their platforms to speak out against wrongdoing whenever necessary.

Born in 1982 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Ritchson was raised in Florida. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a model and first gained national attention after appearing on American Idol in 2004. Although he did not advance far in the competition, the appearance marked the beginning of his public career.

He began acting with a series of small television roles before landing the part of Arthur Curry, better known as Aquaman, on Smallville. The role became one of his earliest breakthroughs and opened the door to more opportunities in both television and film.

Ritchson later starred in the comedy series Blue Mountain State, which developed a strong following among younger audiences and helped establish his reputation as a charismatic performer well suited to action-comedy roles.

On the big screen, he appeared in several major productions, including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. While these films achieved commercial success, Ritchson largely played supporting characters and had yet to become one of Hollywood’s leading stars.

His career reached a turning point in 2022 when he was cast as Jack Reacher in Amazon Prime Video’s Reacher. Standing nearly two meters tall with a muscular physique that closely matches Lee Child’s literary description of the character, Ritchson received widespread praise from both critics and fans.

The success of Reacher transformed him into one of television’s leading action stars and significantly raised his international profile. Each new season has attracted strong viewership, making Ritchson one of the industry’s most sought-after actors.

Beyond acting, Ritchson has spoken candidly about his mental health journey. He has revealed that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has chosen to share his experience publicly in the hope of reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness. The actor has also frequently cited his Christian faith as an important source of strength throughout his life.

In his personal life, Ritchson has been married to Catherine Ritchson since 2006. The couple share three sons and have maintained a relatively private family life. Catherine has also collaborated with her husband on several production projects and is widely regarded as a key source of support throughout his career.

Unlike many Hollywood celebrities, Ritchson has largely avoided personal scandals. Most controversies surrounding him have stemmed from his outspoken political views and willingness to comment on social issues. As a result, he has earned both praise and criticism, depending on the audience’s perspective.

His latest comments regarding Donald Trump and the Jeffrey Epstein files reinforce the public image he has cultivated in recent years: an actor who is willing to speak his mind even when doing so invites controversy. With the Epstein case remaining one of the most closely watched and politically sensitive issues in the United States, Ritchson’s remarks are likely to continue fueling debate in the days ahead.
