The World Cup is underway as supporters from across the world converge on the US, Canada and Mexico to enjoy the best football the sport has to offer. And now fans in the US have had their say on how those supporters rank against each other in terms of attractiveness.

A ranking of World Cup nations’ sexiest fans was compiled by The Lines, who surveyed 3,000 fans across the country on what nations got their hearts racing.

England scraped into the top ten, beating the likes of fellow European sides Spain and Sweden, who failed to place in the top ten.

Colombia feature in ninth-place, despite having glamorous and daring fans like Wendy Sanchez pushing them to victory. The Netherlands came in eighth, with Jake Paul‘s fiancee Jutta Leerdam setting the bar for the nation’s fans when she starred in a charity football match earlier this year.

The list stays in Europe for a while, with Portugal fans taking up the seventh spot as they follow Cristiano Ronaldo for what could be a final World Cup tournament.

Croatia come in sixth, surely helped by famous superfan Ivana Knoll and her many headline-generating outfits while following the national team.

France are the only European side to make it into the top five, the best outside of the Americas.
