ENGLAND midfielder Declan Rice was spotted with an ice pack on his hamstring after the dramatic 2-1 win over DR Congo on Wednesday.

Rice played 90 minutes before he was replaced by John Stones in added time as the Three Lions attempted to see out the victory. That is despite the injury concern the midfielder had been dealing with before the match.
Rice appeared to be nursing his left hamstring with ice at full-time in Atlanta.
He was pictured holding a giant ice pack against his leg while sat in the dugout.
The Arsenal star missed England’s final group stage match against Panama as a precaution after it emerged that he had been managing hamstring pain for six months.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live at full time, Rice said: “I’m fine. Good as gold. Good.”

Quizzed on appearing exhausted as the full-time whistle went, Rice added: “It’s what happens when you play in 30 degree heat I suppose.
“Tough game. Give it everything and the body’s been through a lot in that match. Time to recover and go again.” The Tottenham star played 70 minutes, filling in for already-injured Reece James and Jarell Quansah at right-back.

England found themselves behind just seven minutes into the last-32 clash.
Brian Cipenga fired DR Congo ahead with a low strike into the bottom-left corner.
Harry Kane finally netted the equaliser in the 75th minute with a headed effort from a perfect Anthony Gordon cross.
The captain then turned the match on its head with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.
