I’d like to thank those who were truly close to Sam for respecting the privacy he earned and that his loved ones need during this incredibly difficult time.”

Grenz also revealed that Sam Neill remained remarkably active throughout the final year of his life. Over the course of just one year, the veteran actor completed filming four consecutive projects, all of which are scheduled to be released in the coming months.

His final screen appearances include the romantic comedy The Last Resort, starring alongside Daisy Ridley and Alden Ehrenreich, as well as the blockbuster Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
