Jelly Roll’s Daughter Speaks Out on His Divorce from Bunnie Xo: “Nobody Cheated, and the Internet Will Crumble If I Tell the Truth”

After Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo officially ended their nearly 10-year marriage, speculation about the reason behind their split quickly spread across social media. Now, the country star’s 18-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann, has publicly addressed the situation for the first time during a TikTok livestream, firmly denying the rumors surrounding her father’s divorce.

During the livestream, Bailee expressed her frustration over the flood of comments and direct messages accusing either Jelly Roll or Bunnie Xo of infidelity. She stated emphatically, “Nobody cheated. Period. [Get] the f— out of my comments, my DMs, my live with that s—, I don’t care, I don’t want to talk about it.”

Bailee went on to reiterate that neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie Xo had been unfaithful. However, she hinted that the real reason behind their divorce is entirely different from what the public believes. “Y’all have no f—ing idea what happened, and wait ‘til y’all find out.”

According to Bailee, the public only knows a small fraction of the story. She argued that people continue to make assumptions without having experienced what her family actually went through. “The public’s knowledge of the situation… is not a total view.”

She further fueled speculation with a striking statement: “The internet in totality is about to f—ing crumble the day that I open my mouth.” Despite the bold claim, Bailee declined to reveal any additional details about what she was referring to.

Continuing to express her frustration with online speculation, Bailee said, “It’s not a difference in f—ing opinions. Nobody else lived in it. So don’t f—ing even.” She then ended the discussion and moved on to another topic during the livestream.

This wasn’t the first time Bailee had spoken publicly about her father’s divorce. In June, she shared a cryptic TikTok video criticizing the intense public interest in her family’s private matters. “Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter.” She also added, “Go on somewhere y’all. Worry bout your house—not mine. I’m not speaking on it—yet.”

According to court records, Jelly Roll filed for divorce in May, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple had separated shortly beforehand and finalized their divorce in early July, bringing their nearly decade-long marriage to an official end.

The news came as a surprise to many fans, as Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo had continued to appear together at major public events, regularly shared affectionate moments on social media, and frequently spoke about their plans for the future. They had also discussed expanding their family, making the divorce particularly unexpected for many followers.

A source close to the former couple later revealed that Jelly Roll wanted the divorce process to be completed quickly and fairly. “There was never any desire to drag the process out. They both wanted to handle the divorce with respect for one another.”

The insider also explained that the singer wanted to ensure the financial settlement was handled fairly. “He’s a very generous person by nature and wanted to make sure the divorce was handled fairly and respectfully.”

Born Jason DeFord in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1984, Jelly Roll experienced a troubled youth before becoming one of America’s most successful country artists. He struggled with legal issues and spent time in jail while he was young. Those life experiences later became the emotional foundation of many of his songs, which often focus on redemption, hope, and second chances.

Jelly Roll’s career reached new heights after he blended country, rock, and hip-hop into his signature sound. Songs such as Son of a Sinner, Need a Favor, Save Me, and I Am Not Okay earned widespread critical acclaim, major awards, and Grammy recognition, firmly establishing him as one of the genre’s biggest stars.

Beyond his music, Jelly Roll has become known for openly discussing addiction recovery, mental health, and overcoming past mistakes. He frequently participates in charitable initiatives and encourages others who have struggled in life to believe that positive change is possible.

Meanwhile, Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, is the host of the popular Dumb Blonde podcast and has built a massive following across social media platforms. She often accompanied Jelly Roll on tour and has been widely credited with helping strengthen his public image throughout their relationship.

Notably, even after confirming their divorce, Bunnie Xo revealed that she and Jelly Roll still plan to welcome a child together through surrogacy. The decision suggests that despite ending their marriage, they intend to maintain a respectful and cooperative relationship regarding certain personal plans.

Bailee Ann has also shared a close relationship with Bunnie Xo over the years. Bunnie has frequently described Bailee as her own daughter and has spoken about creating a stable and supportive family environment for her. As a result, Bailee’s recent comments have attracted significant attention, as she is considered one of the few people who truly knows what happened behind the scenes of the marriage.

Although Bailee’s statements have sparked even more speculation online, she has remained firm in refusing to disclose the specific reason behind her father’s divorce. Instead, she urged the public to stop making assumptions, insisting that the truth is very different from the narratives currently circulating on social media. As of now, neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie Xo has offered any additional public comments beyond the statements made during their divorce proceedings.
